Telekom Romania Mobile in Q3 2023: total revenues of EUR 71.1 million and an increase in Post paid subscriber base of 3.2% year-on-year
 

• The Post paid subscriber base grew by 3.2% year-on-year - to a total of 1.9 million;
• EBITDA Adj. AL at €4.6 million.

 
Telekom Romania Mobile recorded 1.9 million Post paid subscribers at the end of the third quarter of 2023, up 3.2% from the same period last year. In the same period, the total customer base stood at 3.9 million subscribers due to a reduction in Prepaid subs base.
As of 30 September 2023, Telekom Romania Mobile recorded total revenues of EUR 71.1 million, down 7.4% compared to the same period in 2022, mainly due to the reduction in Interconnection rates (MTR cut by -27%), lower sales of handsets and accessories and discontinuation of MVNO business. Adjusted EBITDA (AL) was EUR 4.6 million, mainly due to once off impact occurred in PY and further impacted by higher energy costs and discontinuation of MVNO business.
Thus, Telekom Romania Mobile's Post subscriber base has maintained its annual growth trend since Q4 2020, which represents a stable development, i.e. the validation of the company's mission and strategy to have customers at the core of its business.
Telekom Romania Mobile remains committed to investing with the aim of continuously offering improved customer experience and services to its subscribers.
In the third quarter of the year, Telekom Romania Mobile started to combat stereotypes about telecom products and services, offering Romanians "MOBILE PURE & SIMPLE". The company aims to continue the same path by launching new commercial offers that simplify and improve customer experience.
