Telekom Romania introduces new features for Telekom TV services
As part of the efforts to provide customers with a complete multi-screen experience, Telekom Romania introduces, starting this month, new additional features for the television customers of the company.
Thus, Telekom TV Interactiv customers can benefit of the Media Player feature. This allows playing from any USB stick, directly on the TV screen, images, clips and movies, as well as music and audio files, by plugging a memory stick or a hard disk to the USB port on the back of the receiver. The functionality allows the viewing of video and audio files of these formats: MP3, MP4, MKV, AVI, images in JPEG, PNG, BMP. Media Player is offered exclusively and free of charge to Interactiv Television customers from Telekom.
Moreover, also Telekom TV Web & Mobile users can access now TV shows broadcasted up to one week ago via TV Archive feature. The option can be used accessing the TV Grid section and selecting from there any show that was broadcasted and has the Replay icon associated. Until now, the TV Archive feature was available exclusively for TV Interactiv customers.
Furthermore, with the Cloud Recording Plus option, the users of the www.telekomtv.ro platform can record and store up to 100 hours of SD TV content or up to 42 hours of HD TV content (movies, shows, sport competitions) in the associated cloud account. The monthly subscription fee is 6 lei/month, VAT included. The recordings can be scheduled using the TV set – for the customers with the Telekom TV Interactiv service, or through www.telekomtv.ro, respectively from the Telekom TV application, as the respective content may be accessed using any other device associated to the same account. The functionality is available for free, too, as all customers for Telekom TV Interactiv and Telekom TV Web & Mobile have the possibility to record up to 30 hours of SD TV content or up to 13 hours of HD TV content in their cloud account.
The Telekom TV Web & Mobile platform, which includes www.telekomtv.ro and Telekom TV app available in Google Play or App Store, may be accessed using up to 5 devices, to view the preferred content.
